Dr.Norman is absolutely the most knowledgeable, caring, and committed doctor I’ve ever chosen as a caregiver. I first met him when he was treating my husband three years ago, and when it recently came time for me to seek a cardiologist, he was naturally my one and only choice. His commitment to his patients’ wellbeing was clearly demonstrated a few weeks ago when he was under the weather but chose to “power through” to see me despite his impaired, yet noncontagious condition. His explanations of test results and future treatment plans are thorough and easily understood, leaving me confident that I am receiving the absolute best care available.

Really like Dr. Norman and appreciate the time he spends with me each appointment. However, to be kept waiting for over an hour after you’ve already been placed in an examination room is highly frustrating! Especially when you have a calendar full of work demands. One would expect to be seen within 15-20 minutes of appt time and then on your way to work/next responsibility. I find this highly disrespectful of my time.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience as a patient of Dr. Aslam. While the office staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and never made me feel rushed, my interactions with Dr. Aslam were unfortunately quite the opposite. My visits with Dr. Aslam were incredibly brief, lasting no more than 10 minutes each. He was dismissive of my concerns, particularly regarding a specific reaction I experienced during a stress test. Despite my repeated explanations that this reaction was not related to the medication, he insisted it was and refused to acknowledge my prior experiences. Furthermore, Dr. Aslam was not thorough in reviewing my test results. He quickly skimmed over labs, including elevated results, without proper discussion or a plan of action. My medical records from his office also contained inaccuracies that had to be corrected. The online portal is largely ineffective, lacking crucial information such as images from testing and complete results. Obtaining comprehensive records requires contacting the office directly. I sincerely did not appreciate Dr. Aslam's dismissive and neglectful manner. His lack of attention to detail and patient care is concerning and could potentially have serious consequences. I strongly advise others to carefully consider their choice of cardiologist and seek a more attentive and thorough physician. I highly recommend Dr. Baig off of Dotson road (by Willowbrook Methodist Hospital) as an alternative. I hope this review helps other patients make informed decisions about their healthcare.

Elyssa comes to Dr. Aslam's office with years of nursing experience as an R.N. prior to getting her nurse practioners license. Her depth of experience serves her and her patients well.

Though I do love the Dr, It seems that Dr. Norman's office has an ongoing issue with getting paperwork done on time. I've experienced this problem twice, where they called me on the last business day before a procedure to ask for more information, even though my appointment was scheduled months in advance. This has caused a lot of stress as I had taken time off work and prepared for the procedure, only to have it postponed due to the office staff's inability to complete paperwork on time. Dr. Norman is aware and upset about this issue, as it has happened not only to me but also to a family member. Dr. Norman himself is wonderful, kind, and caring, but the office staff's inefficiency is causing significant problems.

He took a lot of time for my concerns and questions and looked thoroughly into my bloodwork and I feel he works with an holistic approach. Will update after all my tests are done.

Northwest Heart Center is run like a well oiled machine. Everyone seemed very efficient at their jobs. Everyone was kind and very polite , which is hard to find in the medical field these days. Dr Norman and his nurse go over every detail of my health and asks me many questions and Dr Norman listens to my questions and gives me as much time as needed! He’s so calm, polite and professional but truly has such a heart for me as his patient! I was one very critically ill lady and he took such good care of me. I am 73 and I am now able to be caregiver for my husband that is bedridden. Dr Norman is a blessing to me and my family!

Gianna and McKenna always take the time for a quick personal chat, yet they are so professional and efficient! Kevin, who did several tests on me made me very comfortable and relaxed although I came in a little nervous. I would highly recommend this practice!!

They help me every way they can and they get to the point of my problems ....

Great doctor. Great PA. Great front desk staff. They work to get you where you can go off your medicines, and not just throw more prescriptions on top of the issues that you probably don't need or might cause more problems. One of the few doctors I would recommend to people.

He was so nice, and seemed to really care and took his time. That is refreshing not being rushed! I also don’t have insurance while waiting for disability and he went above and beyond to try and get me the help I needed with very limited income right now.

Dr.Aslam has phenomenal expertise, very thorough, and shows a great deal of concerns for his patients. The office staff overall was good. It’s a very busy practice but well worth the wait if you encounter one. Overall,I would highly recommend him to family and friends!
