Annie Ma, NP

Annie Anh (Annie) Ma, NP, is a certified nurse practitioner at Northwest Houston Heart Center, with locations in Tomball, Cypress, Magnolia, and The Woodlands, Texas. She manages patients in the clinic, coumadin therapy, and pacemakers, as well as makes rounds with the cardiology team at affiliated hospitals. In addition, she serves as a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials for the development of pioneering therapies for cardiovascular diseases. 

Born and raised in Houston, Annie attended the University of Houston, where she received her undergraduate degree in biology. She worked as a research technician in the atherosclerosis lab and breast cancer lab at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, before getting her Bachelor of Science at Texas Woman’s University in Denton. 

This allowed her to dedicate her passion for quality patient care at the fast-paced Ben Taub Hospital surgical/trauma IMU, where she also served as a preceptor and charge nurse. During this time, her commitment to education allowed her to earn her master’s degree at Texas Woman’s University. Annie is accredited and certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
